Manufacturing & General Engineering
For more than 50 years, Air Tool Services has supplied, serviced and supported industrial power tools across manufacturing and engineering industries, from production assembly and OEM manufacturing to fabrication, maintenance and specialist applications..
We understand that no two production environments are the same. The right tooling depends on the application, the material, the process and the people using it. That’s why our approach starts with understanding what you’re trying to achieve, rather than simply matching you to a product.
From precision torque-controlled fastening and repetitive assembly to heavy-duty grinding, cutting and material removal, we supply leading industrial tool brands backed by genuine application knowledge, in-house repair, calibration and preventative maintenance.
MANUFACTURING APPLICATIONS
The Right Tool for the Job
Manufacturing is rarely one process from start to finish. From precision fastening and repetitive assembly to fabrication, maintenance and specialist cutting, every application places different demands on your tools.
We work with manufacturers to understand the process, the material, the working environment and the operator before recommending the right equipment.
Explore some of the applications we support below.
ASSEMBLY & FASTENING
Precision screwdrivers, nutrunners, torque controlled tools and fastening systems.
Pneumatic Tools
Accessories & Consumables
FABRICATION & METALWORKING
Grinders, sanders, drills, cutting tools and surface preparation equipment.

PERFORMANCE BEHIND THE TOOL
Tom Kirby
Sales Engineer
Tom works closely with manufacturing and engineering customers to understand the application behind the tool, helping them select equipment that delivers the right balance of performance, reliability, accuracy and operator usability.
From production assembly and fastening to maintenance, material removal and specialist applications, Tom takes a practical approach to tooling. Understanding how a tool will be used, what material it is working with and what the operator needs from it is often just as important as the specification itself.
Tom also works closely with customers where a conventional tool isn’t the answer, helping identify alternative tooling and specialist equipment that can make a process faster, safer or more efficient.
“The best tool isn’t necessarily the most powerful one. It’s the one that works best for the job, the operator and the process.”
